When we talk about digital transformation and artificial intelligence, it's easy to fall into the realm of abstractions - pretty slides, buzzwords, and vague promises of the "future". It was precisely with this principle that we arrived at Assurant's global artificial intelligence workshop, which took place between May 11th and 15th.
The challenge: taking AI from discourse to practice
Assurant is a global company, with teams distributed across different countries and cultures. The challenge was not small:
How to align a common vision about AI and, at the same time, make it relevant and applicable to so many people in such distinct realities?
How to take all the technology knowledge and transform it into real solutions for the specific business problems?
How to move from experimentation to problem-solving in specific contexts?
The answer was an entire week of intense collaborative work, a workshop designed to go beyond theory.
What happened during the week?
Squadra experts acted as facilitators throughout the week, leading discussions, provoking new perspectives, and helping teams connect artificial intelligence to real business challenges. It was an active process in which participants dove into concrete problems, tested approaches, and left with tangible ideas in hand.
Much is said about the transformative potential of AI in companies, but the gap between this promise and real application is still enormous. This transition, from the generic horizon to the precise solution, is where many companies get stuck. Immersive workshops like this one exist to close this gap, connecting real pain points to something that technology can address.
